Carol Caldwell-Edmonds, B.M., M.A.

Thank you for visiting the online home of Studio in the Woods. I’d like to introduce myself, since I actually developed this (WordPress “Pilot Fish” themed) site myself.  It seems more natural to speak in the first person as I type this. My name is Carol, and that is how I am known to my students, young and mature, in the piano studio and in the classes I teach at the Community College of Vermont. I earned a Bachelor of Music degree, with a piano performance concentration, from West Chester University in PA in 1982, and a Master of Arts degree in Computer Technology in Education in 2002 from Vermont College of Norwich University. I have over 20 years of experience teaching people to play the piano, and facilitating the learning of many subjects using computer based technologies. I enjoy teaching, composing, and creating multimedia projects. Whether you are a parent looking to help your young child discover a musical interest, or someone who has always wanted to play the piano, but who only NOW has found the time, I hope you will act on that insight and find out just how creative you can be.

You can call me at 802 644 8486 if you are in or near the Lamoillle County, Vermont area and are interested in coming to my in-home “Studio in the Woods” in Belvidere Vermont.  We can talk about your interests and arrange an initial visit. Parents are welcome to relax by the woodstove in winter, or on the sun porch or grounds in warm weather while your child’s lessons are underway. If you are out of the area, please have a look at the Studio in the Woods piano series and online learning option (beginning Summer 2014).
